February 26 and 27, 1994

Again this year we took off from the Aurora Track in Big Lake. Temperatures ranged from -28 degrees to zero with strong winds. At the start of the race the temperature was -15 and trail conditions were hard, fast and icy in places, but improved as the teams moved further into the interior.
