1993 Jr. Iditarod Final Standings
1994 | Archive Index | 1992
February 27 and 28, 1993
Due to overflow on Big Lake, the race started from the Aurora Race Track in the Big Lake area. The trail ran from Aurora to Yentna Station Roadhouse on the Big Bend of the Yentna River where mushers had a mandatory layover and then returned to the Aurora Track on Sunday. Temperatures ranged in the twenties to mid forties. Trail conditions in the first several miles were fairly rough with punchy snow and glaciation , but improved into hard fast conditions as long as one stayed on the trail. Race Marshall - Dan Flodin
