30th Anniversary --- This year the race trail was changed from our traditional out and back, to a continuous trail more like the Iditarod starting at Knik Lake, the original starting point of the JR. Iditarod, to Willow Community Center, a total distance of 145 miles. Trails were in near exceptional condition being hard, fast, and well marked. Temperature ranged from +15 to -5 with wind chill factors to -27. Race Marshall was Ellie Claus.
