Mattie Cobb, 16, says she started mushing “to try something new.” This year’s Jr. Willow 100 will be her first race. Mattie is homeschooled and participates in 4-H. She also enjoys horses and rodeo, volunteer fire fighting, being an EMS and K-9 SAR training. After high school she wants to go to college for a criminal justice degree and become a K-9 police officer. She isn’t sure yet if she will continue mushing.
